Background - Why you should trust me on TikTok

Starting mid-2022, I REALLY dived into TikTok, learning ALL the ins and outs — really just flailing around on there, lol.

And in 2022, I helped other students learn how to use TikTok - through my off-the-cuff 30 day TikTok Challenge. The point of these challenges was to just STFU and just MAKE — posting one TikTok a day, no matter what!

Through those challenges, I broke 25,000 followers on the app!

In the year it took me to do this, I learned a TON! From insights on how the SPEED at which you TALK impacts your videos, to getting comfortable on-camera, figuring out how to actually FILM and EDIT videos, etc.

Also how to get over // get through feeling like an absolute TOOL filming yourself. UGH!

I only offer a course when I am SUPER confident that I can teach the material, know my shit — and know my clients are seeing RESULTS. Not to be gauche, but I held off for so long on offering a TikTok course because it wasn’t quite ready.

I created this course to act as a soft of faux-Ms. Frizzle, taking you on a Magic School Bus tour of TikTok, showing you what all the buttons do, as well as TEMPLATES for rad videos (with scripts!) you can use.

One of the things that’s been super helpful is getting a great camera tripod thingy for my phone, 10/10 I learned this the hard way!

But it isn’t enough to KNOW how to make a TikTok, which is why I’ve added on the 30 Day Challenge component that’s optional! You’re gonna LEARN and DO, babe!

The course will run for a full week, and take place on Zoom, with a group of ~12 people. The community you find in a course is one of the TOP reasons you should take my course, as folks have made lifelong friends and seen business magic in them.

  • We’ll meet on Zoom, where I’ll share EXACTLY how to do everything. You’ll also get access to a library of 25 tutorials on specific features and BUTTONS!

  • You’ll be in a class of ~12 other people. You’ll have access to the videos for 1 year (they won’t be much use after that, as TikTok changes FAST)

  • I’ll hold 5 coaching calls (Facebook Lives) at 5:30PM PACIFIC, which are highly interactive and tailored to your specific needs (you’re encouraged to ask questions via FB comments throughout the call).

  • Can’t make every evening? That’s okay! You’ll be able to watch later and ask questions if you’ve missed something. You’ll have 1 week after the course closes to ask questions.

Note: This course is for folks who USE and watch TikToks. If you’re SO NERVOUS about TikTok that you don’t get on the app, that’s ok! Bu you’ll need to watch at least 20 minutes of TikTok a day before we start (3-4 hours total). Trust me, that time will FLY by, lol. <3

  • Monday, June 5: Types of TikTok Videos || In this session, I’ll break down the top 10 type of TikTok videos, and you’ll note what kinds of videos you gravitate towards (skits, Q&As, product review/promo, day in the life, HOT TAKES, etc)

  • Tuesday, June 6: TikTok TOUR! Greenscreens, Stitches & Filters || In this session, I’ll cover the TOP TikTok tools for you to use [yay lip syncs!] In this session, you’ll learn where ALL the thingies and buttons are!

  • Wednesday, June 7: Components of a TikTok Video || In this session, I’ll break down the key components of a TikTok video — we’re getting under the HOOD. I’ll teach you my methods for analyzing well-performing videos, and how to implement those insights (naturally) into YOUR content.

  • Thursday, June 8: FILMING || In this session, I’ll show you how to film, cut and edit your TikToks.

  • Friday, June 9: Trends, SEO & GROWTH || In this session, I’ll teach you my hacks and tips to grow your following on TikTok, without being spammy or breaking rules!

remember, it’s ok if you can’t make a session! Recordings will go up IMMEDIATELY (ok, within an hour, because Zoom is in charge), so you can definitely catch up!
